(large playpark with swings, slides, roundabout etc..) At the far end of Westgate Gardens.
Directions: From Westgate Towers, enter Westgate Gardens. Walkalong until you get to a bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and continue all the way down along the river. You will go under a large bridge, then you will be in the playpark. Map
Dane John Gardens
(Large park with fountain and outdoor cafe. No slides etc..)
Directions: Over the road from the bus staion on the Boots side of the Whitefriars shopping centre. Map
Grey Friars Park
(Small quiet park with a little river and usually ducks. No slides etc..)
Directions: Cross over the little bridge in Stour street. Map
Westgate Gardens
(Very pretty gardens with flowers, river, ducks and swans. No slides etc..)

Wincheap Playpark
(has swings, slides etc..)

Whitstable Recreation Ground
(Large park with swings slide etc.. plus large grass area for football matches).
Directions: On Westmeads Road nr the Train Station. Map
Tankerton Slopes
The cliff-top lawns of Tankerton Slopes roll gently towards the sea and provide an excellent view of 'The Street' and a vantage point to watch the nautical world go by.
Cornwallis Park (climbing frame, swings etc..)
Directions: Cornwallis Circle, near Oxford Street. Map
